After a few years of work with adults and young people, during the last apostolic trip to Rwanda in August 2026, the retreat “The Plan of God in the Church” was held for the first time in the House of “Our Lady of the Holy Spirit” run by The Work of the Church in Karwasa (Rwanda). The participants were a group of women who had already taken part in previous years in the retreat “Church Experiences” or ” Days of Retreat on the Mystery of God in the Church“.

Mother Trinidad had dreamt with the fulfilment of this desire: “to be able to sing her song to the dearly beloved people in Africa and Asia….” A desire that has become a reality, and which has filled us with joy, since through Mother’s talks and videos, each person who participates with an open soul can say: “I have come to know the true Face of the Church!”
The Work of the Church holds a monthly meeting with all those who take part in the activities organized during our stay there. Such activity aims at continuing to provide them with help in their formation and in discovering more and more the gift Mother represents and her mission for the whole Church.

Likewise, for the first time—and as the fruit of a work that has been carried out over several years—a group of 32 young girls were able to participate in the “Church Experiences” in English with very great fruits. Two additional retreats also took place: one for 28 young girls aged 16 to 20 and another for 22 teenage girls aged 12 to 13.
We cannot but thank the Lord for the fact that so many souls have been able to hear the song of the “Echo of the Church” in order to know the Church more, and to love Her and be witnesses to Her in the midst of a world that seeks God, even without knowing it.
Our brothers and sisters there, with one single voice, say to the Church and to her Echo: Thank you, Mother, for this life you give us, so that we may be living members—in this portion of the Church—and torches that illuminate!
To all of you, Members of the Ecclesial Family, we want to make you share in this joy of ours, because we are aware that each one of you, even from afar, has collaborated in this apostolic journey to Rwanda with your prayer, with your sacrifice or with the very gift of your own lives offered for this purpose.
